Privacy Policy
Calculator data
Every calculator on SOFTYTOOLS runs entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Numbers you enter, such as account balances, prices and percentages, are processed on your own device. They are not sent to our servers or to our analytics, and we do not store them. The only information we receive from you directly is what you choose to submit through a form (see below).
Local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember two preferences on this device: your light/dark theme choice and your selected display currency on the Calculator page. These values stay on your device and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings.
Contact and Request a Tool forms
If you submit the Contact or Request a Tool form, the details you provide (such as your name, email address and message) are sent through Formspree, a third-party form-processing service, which forwards them to us so we can respond. We use this information only to reply to you and to review your request. We do not sell it. Formspree handles submissions under its own privacy policy. To ask about or request deletion of something you sent us, contact us using the details below.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand aggregate usage of the site, such as which pages are visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies to recognize returning browsers. We load it to measure page visits only; it does not receive the values you type into calculators. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser. Learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Other third-party services
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which includes your IP address, when a page loads. The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare Pages, which, like most hosting and content delivery providers, may process technical request data such as IP address and browser details for security and delivery.
Cookies
The calculators and guides do not need cookies to work. Cookies may be set by Google Analytics as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the calculators.
Advertising
SOFTYTOOLS does not currently display third-party advertising and does not currently load any advertising scripts. If we introduce advertising in the future (for example, through Google AdSense), we will update this policy before ads appear, explain which cookies or similar technologies are used for ad personalization and measurement, and provide any consent choices that apply to your location.
Your choices
You can use every calculator on this site without providing personal information. You only share contact details if you submit a form. You can manage cookies and local storage in your browser, use the analytics opt-out add-on above, or contact us about information you have sent us.
Changes to this policy
If our use of data or third-party services changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
